Dudas varias que me asaltan:

1) Como se cambia la url de algún post del foro por una con palabras que yo quiera??

2) Y los mensages de espera en lo que carga la web?

3) Como les coloco estrellas como rango al administrador y moderadores?? (las tengo subidas pero me salen los cuadros normales en vez de las estrellas)

4) También me gustaría quitar lo que tengo señalado en rojo de la siguiente imagen a la hora de postear:

No entiendo lo que quieres... muestrame un ejemplo.

Debes subirla en la carpeta style images.
En las settings de los grupos, donde dice Group Icon Image. colocas.

reemplazas como lo tengas.

Lo de acceso rapido hasta lo que yo se no se puede quitar, pero es cuestion de investigar. Todo lo demas son los permisos del grupo de usuario en tu caso si sos admin tienes todo eso, pero para verificar tienes que ver en el tema de los permisos.

Estas ultimas versiones , no estoy el tanto de que se pueda cambiar, pero te averiguo.

revisa bien las rutas todo y tiene que funcionar, tambien recuerda poner bien el formato.-

De seguro que lo sabes pero te digo... eso es solo para los grupos no ranks.

Por lo que veo no tienes instalado el Universal Mod Installer es asi?.

Si ese es el caso debes instalar el Universal Mod Installer que se encarga de reconocer e instalar otro tipo de mods.

Me puedes ayudar con la instalación??

CODE
  1.   Upload - Upload the contents of the /mod_install and /sources directories to your forum's root directory, being sure to keep the directory structure intact. This should put a file called index.html in your forum's /mod_install directory, and a file called umi.php in your forum's /sources/components_acp directory.
  2. Delete - Check and see if you have a file named index.php, or a folder called /images in your forum's /mod_install directory. These could be left over from previous versions of this script. If either of these exist on your site, delete them. In addition, any XML and PHP files in this /mod_install directory from a previous IPB version can be safely deleted as well.
  3. CHMOD - Ensure that the CHMOD on your /mod_install folder is set to 755. Any files contained in this folders can be CHMOD 644.
  4. Install - Log in to your board's Admin CP, and on the Admin tab, click the Components -> Manage Components menu link. At the bottom of this page will be a box labeled 'Import XML Component File'. Use the first option there to browse to the ipd_components.xml file included in this folder and click the Import button.
  5. Settings - Go to the Components tab and look for the Manage Settings link in the (FYS22) Universal Mod Installer section. From here you can adjust a few settings for this mod. You may need to turn some features off from here if features in the installer cause problems.
  6. Install your mods! - These steps have added the script as a new component on your board, and it shows up on the Components tab. Now, for each of your mods that use this installer, you can use this component to install the mods (the individual mods explain this process in more depth).


1. Me confunde con lo que tengo que subir, no se si al root o al directorio.
2. Si he subido el archivo no se porque me dice que lo borre.
3. el archivo que tengo en el directorio que indica ya lo tengo con CHMOD 644.
4. cuando voy a este punto no veo que me salga nada nuevo. Esto no lo veo, "click the Components -> Manage Components menu link." tendré algo mal.

Subi los archivos, images, sources,modinstall al ftp donde tenes los archivos del foro.
Despues te vas al Admin CP -> Admin -> Manage components -> Abajo , Examinar , Buscas el archivo ipd_components , Import

y Listo.

Vale, genial.

Ahora como instalo el furl?? Ya lo tengo e instalado (no se si bien, porque en Components -> Manage Mod Installations, no me sale ninguno instalado).

Perdona que vaya tan paso a paso, es que estoy empezando totalmente con invision (ya me da cosa), antes solo le daba a phpbb, nuke, php,...

Esta bien no hay problema , de paso recupero la memoria...

Mira en , Components -> Manage Mod Installations te tiene que aparecer el mod FURL para instalaro desinstalar. Sino es asi debes subir los archivos del FURL al ftp.

Si lo tienes instalado , como piensas que te parece... en Components te debe aparecer todas las opciones para la configuracion en la barra lateral.

En el archivo que me he descargado de furl tengo estos 3 archivos:

class_display
FURL
htaccess

estos los debo de subir al directorio raíz donde tengo ipb?? (no creo)

yo el archivo modinstall no lo tengo.

Aca te dejo como dice para hacer la instalacion.
