haber si alguen me puede ayudar o darme alguna idea ya que no se que mas mirar

el problema es el siguiente ,en principio todo lo que afecta a RESTAURAR SISTEMA esta bien ,

esta habilitado
tiene espacio suficiente ( 8 gb)
los registros estan bien
cuando se abre me crea un punto de restauracion
puedo crear puntos de restauracion ya que tengo el calendario


El problema es en cuando cierro el windows o cambio de usuario o pasa de dia me
desaparece todos los puntos que he podido crear y si abro me vuelve a crear un punto
de restauracion pero de lo anterior nada de nada.

Las 8 Gb. de espacio supongo que será para la carpeta de restauración, si fuese el espacio libre en disco podría ser el problema.

Desfragmenta el disco, libera espacio en él (Todos los programas-->Accesorios Herramientas del sistema-->Liberador del disco duro), elimina lo que no te sirva.

Limpia el sistema con CCleaner (registro, temporales, historiales, etc.)

Desactiva "Restaurar sistema", reinicia y vuelves a activarla.

Y no estaría de mas que comprobases si no tienes algún virus con tu antivirus actualizado y desde Modo seguro.

la verdad que te pones a buscar cuando realmente tienes problemas y te das cuenta de
la cantidad de personas que saben y estan dispuestas a ayudar . gracias.

volviendo al tema, de disco duro tengo libres 125 Gb y subi a 8Gb la carpeta de restaurar por si ese era el problema .

como defragmentar me tarda mucho lo hare en cuanto pueda y seguire los pasos que me indicas ,por si sirve de algo esto me ha pasado despues de reinstalar el XP ,todo lo demas en principio va bien si no van saliendo mas fallos.

Si es un sistema recién instalado (y es una versión original) prueba ademas de lo anterior lo siguiente:

Inicio-->Ejecutar-->escribe services.msc--> aquí busca Servicio de restauración de sistema que deberá estar (si no lo está lo cambias):

Estado ..............Iniciado

Tipo de inicio....Automático

he hecho todo esto y me sigue sin funcionar

el estado y el tipo de inicio estaba correcto-iniciado y automatico-

lo raro es que todo me pone que esta en funcionamiento y que es correcto

el Xp me lo entregaron con el equipo cuando lo compre hace un par de años es un disco de instalacion que va incluido el xp pero biene todo junto .

Es raro lo que te ocurre, pero repasa este enlace en el que se dan algunas posibles soluciones:

Además si instalas XP Professional:

Inicio-->Ejecutar-->escribe gpedit.msc

Aquí en Configuración de equipo-->Plantillas administrativas-->Sistema-->Restaurar sistema. En la derecha te aparecerán Desactivar Restaurar sistema y Desactivar configuración que deberán estar como No configurado. De no estarlo haz doble clic sobre esas opciones y "activa" la casilla de No configurado.

ya se que es raro por mas que leo por ahi lo compruebo y esta todo correcto

seguire un investigando un poco mas ademas de la ayuda que me podais aportar
si no reinstalare todo de nuevo ,pero es que me da palo volver ha empezar ya que luego hay que reintalar un monton de cosas

Una vez q los expertos te digan q tu pc ya esta libre de infecciones, si los problemas q tienes persisten, retoma por favor este hilo donde los compañeros del foro seguiremos buscando una solucion al problema q tienes, pero antes me gustaria descartar la idea de q tu pc esta infectada.

Gracias por vuestra ayuda ,perdonad que no conteste antes pero es que no tengo mucho tiempo para dedicarle a intentar repararlo.

haber os pongo al dia del tema ,le he pasado el Spybot - Search & Destroy ,el Ad-Aware SE Personal ,tengo el Mcafee Enterprise 8.0 y el Mcafee anty-spyware y segun todo esto no tengo nada maligno.

Ayer puse un punto de restauracion a las 01.00 h y mas tarde seguia estando por lo que pense parece que se ha solucionado ,PERO NO esta mañana cuando me he puesto ya habia desaparecido .

asi que sigo en el mismo punto ,ayer reinstale el servipack 2 por si aydaba pero nada

A good thing to do after version updates is clear your Ignore list and re-add them, as the format of detected items sometimes changes.

Hola,si, yo tambien pienso que podría tratarse de algún virus...veo que tus antispywares no encontraron nada, pero yo probaría tambien con un antivirus online como el kaspersky o el nod32.

No has sacado bien el log del hijackthiss. Sigue estas instrucciones y no lo pongas en este hilo sino en uno abierto expresamante en el subforo de logs hijackthiss.
