Buenas... instalé debian sin problemas, pero luego de terminar e intentar levantar el X me dice que hay un error... Ejecutó un "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86" pero igual no sirve... soy nuevo con esta distro y no se que hacer. Cualquier ayuda sería de gran utilidad...

Mi tarjeta es:

Tamaño 256 MB

Mi monitor:
LG StudioWorks 700E
Tamaño de visión máximo 33 cm x 25 cm (16.3")
Ratio de aspecto de la imagen 4:3

Gamma 2.83



Bajé el modulo de nvidia pero cuando intento instalarlo me dice:

lo que pasa es que no tienes instaladas las fuentes del nucleo.
haz un
uname -r
y seguramente te saldra 2.6.8-2-686 o diferente
lo que debes hacer es instalar los kernel headers de la version que te salga con el uname. utiliza synaptic si te resulta más comodo.
