Adware: Adware.WebRebates

Monitorea la navegación y muestra anuncios.

Debe ser instalado manualmente, tal vez junto con algun programa freeware.

Crea el archivo:

%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Temp\djtopr1150.exe

y la carpeta:

%ProgramFiles%\Web_Rebates

Donde %Userprofile% es variable y se refiere al perfil del usuario, por defecto: C:\Documents and Settings\<Current User> y %ProgramFiles% es en las instalaciones en idioma español: C:\Archivos de programa

Agrega las siguiente entradas en el registro:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"WebRebates0" = "%ProgramFiles%\Web_Rebates\WebRebates0.exe"

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\"djtopr1150.exe" = "%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Temp\djtopr1150.exe"

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\untopr1150\"(Default)" = "WebRebates (by TopRebates.com)"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\untopr1150\"DisplayName" = "WebRebates (by TopRebates.com)"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\untopr1150\"UninstallString" = "%ProgramFiles%Web_RebatesWebRebates1.exe" untopr1150"

www.topmoxie.com

Se puede desinstalar desde el panel control > agregar/remover programas > bajo el nombre: WebRebates (by TopRebates.com)
